Select the location to save the workbook to then choose to save the workbook as an Excel Template. In the New from Existing Workbook dialog box browse to the drive folder or Internet location that contains the workbook that you want to open. You can create a new blank workbook in Excel or create one using one of the templates which are built in or readily available to download.

Now whenever you open the template all you have to do is customize it for a new workbook then save the new workbook.
CSelect all the pages you want and right click move move to the new workbook. Select from Sample templates - these are basic Excel templates that are already installed on your computer. When you have the workbook the way you want your template to be click File then Save As.
